The St. John Ambulance Lifesaver course is designed specifically to teach essential lifesaving first aid skills to people of all ages—people "who always meant to learn first aid, but never had the time".
You will learn:

- how to care for shock
- what to do when someone stops breathing
- how to help a person who is choking
- how to control severe bleeding
- how to care for someone who has fainted and is unconscious
- what to do if poisoning is suspected
- how to care for burns
