Course Duration: 6 ½ Hours (One Day)
Certification Period: 3 Years
A one-day programmed course for those who need basic first aid knowledge and skills. This course meets Ontario’s WSIB requirements for workplace First Aid for a company with 1-5 workers, and the Canada Labour Code’s ‘Basic’ First Aid requirements.
Course Topics Include:
- Emergency Scene Management
- Shock and Fainting
- Choking
- Wounds and Bleeding
- One-Rescuer CPR
- AED Operator Certification
- Heart Attack and Strokes
- Medical Conditions (Diabetes, Asthma, Epilepsy, Anaphylaxis)
Note: Course can be modified to suit special needs or requirements.
Public courses are available EVERY WEEK on Tuesdays from 0830-1630. Contact office for potential weekend date options.
