This course will be completed half in-person at your local SJA office and half online. The online portion must be completed before the in-person portion.

CPR-A: is for individuals requiring comprehensive information on First Aid and CPR for their workplace, school, or personal interest. This type of first aid training is helpful to know in case of medical emergencies where the person who will need medical assistance will most likely be an adult.
CPR-C: is for individuals requiring comprehensive information on First Aid and CPR for their workplace, school, or personal interest. This type of first aid training is helpful to know in case of medical emergencies that involve adults, children, and infants.
CPR-BLS: is training sought out by emergency responders and healthcare professionals for workplace requirements to better and more acutely respond to medical emergencies. This course covers rapid response to an emergency event, Airway Management and Artificial Respiration Techniques, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

All participants take a written exam at the end of the course.
For Alberta compliance, candidates will be allotted 60 minutes at the beginning of the class to complete the Intermediate First Aid knowledge assessment. Following the successful completion of the knowledge assessment, candidates will be required to complete 7hrs of required first aid skills and scenario demonstrations.
