Standard First Aid & CPR-BLS - Recertification

The Standard First Aid – Basic Life Support course is for those working in healthcare and covers advanced CPR techniques.

Upon completion, participants receive a certificate valid for 3 years.

This course meets Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Workplace First Aid (WFA) standards.

This course meets the CSA standards for Intermediate First Aid.

Duration
This is a 1-day course.
Prerequisites

In order to take this course the participant must have a current Standard First Aid (SFA) certificate.

Course Content
  • All content in Standard First Aid Level C course
  • Bag-Valve Mask use (BVM)
  • Two-rescuer child and infant CPR
  • Responding as part of a team
  • Artificial respiration
