Course Description

Our Intermediate First Aid course, replacing Occupational First Aid Level 2, is designed for those who want to take their first aid skills to the next level. This course is ideal for ensuring workplace safety and preparing employees to handle more complex emergencies effectively. 

The training equips you to handle scenarios with more severe injuries or multiple casualties. Over two days, you'll learn advanced techniques like handling chest & abdominal injuries and performing rescue carries, ensuring you're prepared for any emergency.

The Intermediate First Aid course aligns with CSA Z1210-17, meets the Canada Labour Code and ILCOR standards, and is recognized by WorkSafeBC. This course also meets the BC Ministry of Health's licensing regulations for residential care and childcare facilities.

  • First aid attendants in medium to large workplaces with moderate to high hazard ratings
