This newly developed WHMIS course provides practical, easy-to-understand training on the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). Learners will explore how to identify hazardous products, understand labels and safety data sheets (SDSs), recognize common workplace hazards, and take appropriate steps to protect themselves and others.
Important: This course provides general WHMIS education only. It is not a substitute for workplace-specific WHMIS training required by employers. Completion of this course alone may not satisfy occupational health and safety requirements applicable to a particular workplace.
