Do You Meet the Prerequisites?
To ensure the highest quality of training, we require all applicants to meet the following criteria before applying:
Age | Must be 18 years of age or older. |

Certification | Have held an intermediate or higher level first aid certificate for at least 2 years. |
Experience | Have been a designated first aider at a Basic level or higher for at least one year |
Our Instructor Development Program (IDP):
Think of the IDP as your “learn, practice, and get signed off” path to becoming an instructor. You will complete a short set of required courses, practice teaching with support, and then teach one full class while an evaluator observes.
How It Works
Instructor School itself is about 60 hours over roughly 6 weeks; the full certification process often takes a few months in total, depending on your schedule and available classes.
