Key Changes to WorkSafeBC's First Aid Requirements

NEW First aid training

The new CSA-aligned first aid courses will replace all Occupational First Aid courses in BC. The most notable change is transitioning from the five-day OFA 2 course to a new two-day Intermediate First Aid course.

NEW First aid Kits

Starting November 1st, all workplace first aid kits must also meet the new standards. This could mean adding or replacing items in your kit or upgrading to a new kit altogether. The new kit types include the Personal, Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced First Aid Kit.
