About the Foundation
The St. John Canada Foundation is a charitable organization with charitable purposes that include rendering aid to the sick, wounded, disabled or suffering and the maintenance of the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital and the clinics and research connected to the Hospital.
The purpose of the St. John Canada Foundation is:
- to receive or maintain a fund or funds and to transfer from time to time all or part thereof to the Priory of Canada of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (“the Priory”) and/or St. John Councils of the Priory provided they are registered charities under the Income Tax Act (Canada).
- to provide medical, health and support services and equipment to the patients of the St. John Eye Hospital in Jerusalem and to the clinics and research projects connected therewith.
